IPMP Announces 16 Winning Proposals for 2020
The Israel Precision Medicine Partnership (IPMP) has announced the 16 winning research proposals for its 2020 cohort, awarding NIS 60 million in grants for the current cycle. The winning proposals feature unprecedented collaborations between scientists and clinicians, academic institutions, and health care organizations. Launched in the summer of 2018, the IPMP enables the expansion of personalized precision medicine research in Israel and funds studies expected to lead to major breakthroughs in global research in this field. The research partnership relies on pooled resources from the Council for Higher Education’s Planning and Budgeting Committee, the Ministry of Health, the Ministry of Social Equality’s Digital Israel Initiative, Yad Hanadiv, and the Klarman Family Foundation (Boston).
